Les Tuffeaux

Local cuisine from Touraine

Our menu is built on fresh local produce: Touraine rillons, goat’s cheeses and wines from the Cher valley winegrowers. On weekday lunchtimes the market menu — starter, main and dessert — is €19.90, with set menus from €25.90 to €34.90 and a children’s menu at €11.50.

The restaurant sits on a shaded square with a terrace overlooking the medieval keep. In summer, Monday-evening jazz concerts pair the famous Touraine wines with the sounds of New Orleans.

A privileged setting

In the heart of the Loire castles

Montrichard sits at the heart of a magic triangle: Chenonceau (7 km), Cheverny (30 km) and Amboise (15 km). The town, a starting point for countless excursions, enjoys a gentle way of life on the banks of the Cher.

Nearby: the gardens of Château de Chaumont, Chambord (46 km), Valençay (41 km), Blois (30 km), Beauval Zoo (23 km), the mushroom caves of Bourré and the cellars of the Touraine winegrowers.

Don’t miss the most beautiful corners of the region.
